A real-time online drawing game
Here's what actually happens in a round of Skravix, if you're wondering how the whole thing works.
How a round works
One player gets a secret word and starts drawing on a shared canvas. Everyone else watches the drawing appear stroke by stroke in real time and types guesses into the chat. Guess correctly and you score points — the faster you guess, the more you earn.
Rounds keep moving
The canvas clears, the next player picks up the brush, and a new word starts. A full game rotates everyone through drawing and guessing before naming a winner.
Play solo-friendly or bring a group
Join a public room on your own and get matched with other players, or open a private room and invite people yourself.
Hints, timers and how points are awarded
When a turn starts the drawer gets 15 seconds to choose between a few offered words, then the clock runs — 80 seconds by default, adjustable from 15 to 300. As time passes, individual letters of the word are revealed as hints; the host sets how many, and a word is never more than half revealed no matter how high that goes. Guessing early scores more than guessing late, and the drawer earns points for every player who gets it, so a clear drawing pays off as much as a fast guess.
Frequently asked questions
Is this drawing game really free?
Yes. Every mode is free, there is nothing to buy, and no feature is locked behind a payment. Ads cover the running costs, and you choose whether to accept them on your first visit.
Do I need an account?
No. Pick a display name and you are playing as a guest. An account only adds the things that need to persist: statistics, achievements, a friends list and saved word packs.
Can I draw with a touchscreen or a pen?
Yes. The canvas takes mouse, trackpad, touch and stylus input, so a phone or tablet works as well as a desktop.
What happens if nobody guesses the word?
The turn ends when the timer runs out, the word is revealed to everyone, and the next player picks up the brush. Play simply moves on.
