How to Play
Everything you need to know to start playing Skravix, the free real-time drawing and guessing game.
What is Skravix?
Skravix is a free, real-time drawing and guessing game you play right in your browser — similar to Pictionary. Each round, one player draws a secret word on a shared canvas while everyone else races to type the correct guess in chat before time runs out.
How do you play?
Join or host a room, then wait your turn. When it's your turn to draw, you'll be offered a few words to choose from — pick one and start drawing. Everyone else sees your drawing appear live and types their guesses into the chat. Guess correctly first for the most points, or watch letters of the word get revealed as hints if nobody's guessed it yet.
What game modes are there?
- Classic — the traditional format. Players take turns drawing one at a time while everyone else guesses.
- Teams — two teams each get their own drawing board and play side by side at the same time, racing to out-guess the other team.
- Battle Royale — play solo or in small teams. Guess wrong (or too slowly) and you're eliminated — last one standing wins.
- Free Draw — no guessing and no timer. Draw this week's prompt at your own pace, then optionally share it to a public gallery where other players can rate it.
How does scoring work?
Guessing correctly earns you points — the faster you guess, the more you get. The drawer earns points too, for every player who successfully guesses their word, so drawing clearly is worth it as well as guessing fast.
Is Skravix free to play?
Yes — Skravix is completely free, with no download required. It's supported by ads, which you can consent to (or decline) the first time you visit.
Do I need an account to play?
No — you can start playing instantly as a guest, just by picking a display name. Creating a free account is optional, and adds saved stats, achievements, friends, and word packs that carry over between games.
How many players can join a game?
That's up to whoever hosts the room — most rooms hold anywhere from a couple of friends up to a large group, and the host can make a room public so other players browsing Skravix can join in too.
Is Skravix available in Dutch and German?
Yes — Skravix's interface is fully available in English, Dutch, German, French, and Spanish. Switch languages any time using the selector in the header.
Is there a Skravix mobile app?
There's no separate app to install — Skravix runs entirely in your mobile browser, with a layout designed to work on phones and tablets as well as desktop.
